Job Title: Yard Operative with FLT Counterbalance License

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Our client, a well-established company within the construction industry, is looking for a motivated Yard Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance License to join their team in Exeter (EX2 postcode). This role offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to transition from a temporary position to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift truck (FLT) to move materials and equipment around the yard.
• Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently and safely.
• Organising and maintaining the yard to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
• Assisting with general yard duties such as manual handling, stock control, and supporting team members.
• Adhering to all company health and safety guidelines.

Key Requirements:

• Valid FLT Counterbalance License (essential).
• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction environment.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a physically demanding role.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
