Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sign Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, producing, and installing a variety of signs, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. This role requires creativity, technical skills, and the ability to work with various materials and tools.

Duties

• Design and create custom signs based on client specifications and requirements.
• Operate various tools and machinery, including vinyl cutters, printers, and routers.
• Prepare surfaces for sign application by cleaning, sanding, or priming as necessary.
• Apply vinyl graphics and other materials to create visually appealing signs.
• Ensure all signs meet quality standards before delivery or installation.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on sign design and materials.
• Maintain an organised workspace and adhere to safety protocols while using equipment.
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Skills

• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and colour.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with various sign-making materials (e.g., wood, acrylic, metal) is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of installation techniques for different types of signage is beneficial.
• A creative mindset with problem-solving abilities to overcome design challenges.
