Pay Rate:

£13.63 per hour

Shifts:

47.5 hours per week over 5 days, rotating shift pattern, covering mornings, evenings and weekends.

Choice of shift pattens below :

Shift A : 

Sunday 06:00 - 18:00

Monday 06:00 - 16:30

Tues/Wed/Thurs 15:00 - 23:00

Friday/Sat - Days off

Shift B :

Tues/Weds/Thurs 06:00 - 14:00

Friday 06:00 - 18:30

Saturday 06:00 - 18:00

Sun/Mon - Days off

What will you be doing?

1. Production Oversight: Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, minimize downtime, and maximize output.

2. Quality Control: Enforce quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed company standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.

4. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge of production processes.

5. Problem Solving: Address production issues and resolve conflicts promptly to minimize disruptions to the manufacturing process.

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, inventory counts, and quality control documentation.

7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement measures to enhance productivity and efficiency.

8. Communication: Foster open communication channels with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination of activities.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

· Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

· Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.

· Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

· Access to a vehicle due to location
