Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our hotel premises. The ideal candidate will have a background in the hospitality industry and a keen eye for detail.

Duties:

- To ensure that bedrooms public areas are cleaned and serviced to the highest standard

- To work within the housekeeping team to ensure that consistent, efficient work is carried out to operational standards

- To be aware of business needs and assist in the rostering of staff to meet demand

- To efficiently use housekeeping stock and cleaning materials and help maintain sufficient stock levels

- To assist with the checking and ordering of laundry ensuring consistency of the product

- To ensure excellent levels of cleanliness are maintained and any maintenance issues are reported promptly

- To ensure that you are aware of and comply with health and safety procedures

- To identify any training needs to Head Housekeeper

Experience:

- Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products used in the hospitality industry

- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

- Strong communication skills to liaise with guests and colleagues

Requirements:

- Proven experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping roles

- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
