Job Description

Due to continued growth, THOMAS Recruitment is recruiting Experienced or Newly Passed HGV 2 Drivers to join the team with an IMMEDIATE START - TEMP TO PERM AFTER 12 WEEKS!

The Role

• Days start between 04:00 am - 06:00 am
• Monday till Friday
• 48 hours Guaranteed
• Weekend availability
• 5-8 drops per day
• 10-13h shift

What will you be doing?

• Driving in a safe and reliable manner.
• Ability to work as part of a 2 man crew.
• Be responsible for customer deliveries.
• Be able to carry out manual handling manoeuvres.
• Heavy lifting is required.

The Successful Candidate

• A C Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
• Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Digital Tachograph Card (Digi)
• Manual entry experience
• Will have an excellent work ethic, adhere to all Health and Safety Policies. Always wear PPE.

Pay Rates

• Weekdays - £16.50 ph
• Saturday - £24.75 ph
• Bank Holidays - £33.00 ph

The THOMAS Recruitment Group will endeavour to find you regular work in your chosen field. You will be paid for the actual hours worked at a pay rate agreed at the beginning of every contracted assignment.
