The THOMAS Recruitment Group is currently recruiting a Forklift Driver for a leading engineering and fabrication manufacturer specializing in the global automotive, commercial vehicle, off-highway, and industrial sectors, based in West Bromwich (B71). You will be joining an established business with over 140 years of experience in the manufacturing industry that will continuously support your development. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity for the right candidates.

Your Shifts:

• Monday to Friday
• Day Shift
• 07:30 am - 04:30 pm
• 07:30 am - 12:30 pm on Friday

Your Pay Rate:

• £12.75 (Overtime rate after 39 hours £14.29)

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Perform warehouse tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Handle materials with care to prevent damage.
• Manage stock levels and conduct regular stock checks.
• Operate Winman ERP logistics systems for inventory tracking.
• Load and unload lorries safely and efficiently.
• Build pallets and containers for shipment.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse machinery (e.g. forklift).
• Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required (max 15 kg).
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes.

Your Benefits:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
• A valid counterbalance forklift certification is essential.
• Has Driving License is essential.
• Computer Literacy is essential.
• Familiarity with stock management practices.
• Crane and PPT (optional).
• The ability to operate ERP logistics systems for inventory control is advantageous.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting duties as needed.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to assist with the business needs (e.g., ability to work overtime).
• Adherence to health and safety policies.
