THOMAS Recruitment Group is currently recruiting Factory Operatives for a leading engineering and fabrication manufacturer specializing in the global automotive, commercial vehicle, off-highway, and industrial sectors, based in Birmingham (B32). You will be joining an established business with over 140 years of experience in the manufacturing industry that will continuously support your development. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity for the right candidates.

Your Shifts:

• 6 am – 2 pm/2 pm – 10 pm rotating pattern
• 6 am - 12 pm/12 pm - 6 pm on Fridays
• Monday to Friday

Your Pay Rate:

• Under 21s: £10.42(Overtime rate after 38 hours £11.68)
• 21 and Over 21's: £11.44 (Overtime rate after 38 hours £12.82)

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Operating basic machinery
• Assembly and testing parts
• Work in line with production targets and in-process quality checks
• Maintain a clean and functional work environment
• Identify machine faults and report to maintenance technicians as required

• You will have some experience in production/manufacturing as this would be advantageous but not essential, as full training is provided.
• You can read work instructions and meet targets
• You have excellent communications skills and attention to detail
• You have the flexibility to assist with business needs (e.g., ability to work overtime)
• You can adhere to health and safety policies
