Quality & Compliance

The THOMAS Recruitment Group’s in-house Compliance Department ensures that the company adheres to all legal requirements and guidelines within the recruitment industry.

By keeping up to date with legislation from Asylum & Immigration, Working Time regulations, Equal Opportunities, Minimum Wage, Conduct Regulations to the Employment Agencies Act you can trust us to meet all the necessary legal requirements as a minimum.

To ensure consistency, our Compliance Department carry out internal audits on each operational business unit quarterly. These audits are based around current UK legislation and best practice.

The aim of the audits is to ensure that THOMAS Recruitment continues to operate within the legal framework, therefore ensuring that the business complies with relevant standards set by the REC and the GLAA.

Ensuring Quality

We always start by getting the fullest possible understanding of each individual client, site and position. Only then do we build a bespoke recruitment process that makes sure of the right candidate fit.

As well as rigorously checking the previous work history and experience of possible candidates, we test their aptitude against the fundamental skills that are needed for the job. Extensive induction and training are given before any flexi-worker starts in their new role, this includes a full understanding of the importance of your site KPIs and the impact of their individual job.

We’ll always look out for pinch points such as high turnover of staff in a particular area or jobs that might be proving difficult – and suggest possible ways of improving the process.
