Job Title: Line Leader

Location: SA14 

Hourly Pay: £13.63 per hour

Hours: 47.5 hours per week over 5 days, rotating shift pattern, covering mornings, evenings and weekends

Job Summary: As a Line Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading a production line to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of our client’s manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for leading production activities, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining quality standards while adhering to the company's production schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Oversight: Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, minimize downtime, and maximize output.
  2. Quality Control: Enforce quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed company standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
  4. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge of production processes.
  5. Problem Solving: Address production issues and resolve conflicts promptly to minimize disruptions to the manufacturing process.
  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, inventory counts, and quality control documentation.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement measures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  8. Communication: Foster open communication channels with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination of activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Access to a vehicle due to location
