I started my recruitment career by complete accident. I was made redundant from my current job and literally applied for every job advertised. I remember being sat outside the interview room and hearing them say “This is the one I was telling you about zero experience BUT huge personality!”. At the time I didn’t know if that was a good thing or bad.

19 years later and I’m still loving EVERY minute of my role, so I guess it was a ‘good’ thing!

I’ve been part of the THOMAS team for 8 years and during this time, I’ve progressed from Senior Consultant to Business Manager and created one of the most successful branches in Blackwood, winning multiple awards over the years.

Our success is credited to our talented team and versatile recruitment solutions approach. We know that the ‘one size fits all’ approach doesn’t produce results for both clients and workers. We also make working with us a lot of FUN!

What I have come to realise during my time in recruitment is, it’s all about relationships and the service you provide. I’m VERY particular when it comes to the service I receive in my day-to-day life, and for that reason, I always pressure myself to get things 'Right First Time' in the service I provide.
